The Nairobi Mombasa train schedule.
The train departs Nairobi three time a week – Monday’s, wednesday and Fridays. The train return from Mombasa on Tuesdays Thursdays and Sundays.

Train check inn time: 1730hrs-18oors or 5.30pm-6pm

Train Toilets - "squat" toilets, on which you straddle a hole in the floor that goes DIRECTLY ONTO THE TRACKS. (you are NOT supposed to use the choo toilet when it is stopped).

Distance and time:Expect to spend 13 1/2 hours on the train. The Nairobi-Mombasa route is 329 miles long and usually arrives in Mombasa at 9:30 a.m. the following day
